BEFORE THE DAY
Shoot Experience and the National Portrait Gallery produced a unique interactive experience - a photographic adventure in portraiture.
Participants enjoyed a day of photographic fun, using the National Portrait Gallery and its Collections as the starting point to create unique portrait inspired photographs.
The day engaged not only with the Collection and portraiture as a whole but with the bustling West End as teams took their cameras out of the gallery and into the heart of London.
Prizes and glory to be won - can you face the challenge?
- Expect a day of the most imaginable fun unleashing your creativity and discovering corners of London.
- PLUS see your photos projected in the National Portrait Gallery during the event.
- In addition your photos will be projected in the National Portrait Gallery during one of their Lates events - details to be confirmed.
"We had the best day and loved seeing the slide show of everyone photos, both on the day and now online!"
Participants got up to all sorts to portray portraits in unusual ways. The phrase 'say cheese' was taken literally, the lines became 'blurred' at times and heads rolled.
A selection of photos from the event will be projected at the National Portrait Gallery's Late event on September 10 - this is your chance to have your work displayed at one of London's most prestigious galleries!
